The third AWC meeting was at Bart´s house, Tonights menu was “the mascot” but Feck that.. A Talisker 10 years of age from the Isle of Skye, “AIe!” The Glenlivit, aged 8 years and an 18 year old Jameson.
A beautiful titbit of information was brought in by Orm giving us tonights mission; apparently 1 drop of water into the glass will change the texture and taste of the ishca Batha therefore with every tasting we experimented and concluded it to be true.
Jeff´s uttering of the Talisker tasting of a burning bed wrapped in plastic gave somewhat of a commotion, the Glenlivit getting away with the comparison of a horsestable and the Jameson just being smooth and bland to the others.
End of the evening the conlcusion was The favourite being the Glenlivit and one qeustion unanswered; why does whisky taste smoother with the addition of one drop of water?
